My name is Joy Schoeph and my love for the written word started a very young age. From grammar school through high school, I was the kid in the corner reading a book. With each turn of the page, I knew that someday I was going to be a writer.
As an adult, I enrolled in screenwriting and script reading programs to further my knowledge and it was through my interactions with fellow course mates that I realized my calling.
I am passionate about empowering screenwriters with the tools they need to succeed and helping them go from zero to hero.
Writing did not always come easily for me, and it’s through my personal struggles and failures that I am able to help other screenwriters overcome obstacles and create a writing routine that is consistent and productive.
Over the years, I put systems and processes in place to maximize my productivity and keep me focused and on task. The Write Mind Hive was created to share those systems, tips and tricks with struggling writers just like you.

Throughout my life, I’ve made a living as a copywriter and content creator, as a professional actor and musician, a film festival script reader, a screenplay consultant, and even as a competitive sports coach. I’m certified as a life coach, screenwriting coach, and meditation guide.
